AkzoNobel Kemipol – Production Facilities, Laboratory & Warehouse Buildings Construction

Executed by Kardik Construction for AkzoNobel Kemipol Inc. and AkzoNobel Coatings Inc. across the Kemalpaşa and Aegean Free Zone (ESBAŞ) complexes in Izmir, these projects represent industrial building solutions adhering strictly to high-safety, precision engineering, and specialized chemical storage standards.

The project scope included the construction of a 3-story reinforced concrete Powder Coating Plant in the Aegean Free Zone. At the Kemalpaşa plant, a 4-story Polymer & Analysis Laboratory Building, specialized high-security Nitrocellulose & Peroxide Warehouse Buildings, a Solvent Tank Storage Area, Tanker Unloading Docks, Barrel Storage Spaces, retaining/perimeter walls, and industrial field concrete paving were fully constructed and delivered.

The project was completed taking into account strict fire safety protocols, chemical-resistant flooring specifications, and heavy industrial building codes required by the paint and chemical industry
